YOUNG is a ceramic artist, sculptor and designer, born in South Korea, graduated from KMuniversity at faculty of Architecture and Design in Seoul, Korea, specializing in fashion and textile design. She was awarded at National Design contest in Korea, winning a scholarship to specialize design in Italy. She graduated from Brera Academy of Fine Art in Milan after the diploma at Marangoni institute of design, taught at IED(Istituto Europeo di Design) and Professional courses of Lombardy Region in Milan, and then worked as a fashion and costume designer in Milan and Seoul. Collaborated as a costume designer with the stage director of the theatre "Alla Scala" in Milan, creating costumes for 4 lyric operas for the major theatres in Seoul such as Sejong Center and SAC(Seoul Art Center).
She moved to London to broaden her professional experiences, attended in several art courses at Central Saint Martin's and in numerous ceramic classes in London. She then got the ceramic diploma from london City Lit which was issued by London Metropolitan university.
Now she is based in Milan working as ceramic artist, sculptor and designer in her studio in Milan and Lake Maggiore.
